The Characters

Mona

Mona has a view all her own, a view two feet high and three-years-old. In this curious world there are curious things and no-one is as curious as Mona. Mona understands that caterpillars are exciting, she knows it's fun to sip sour lemonade and the tickly feeling of squishy mud between your toes. She loves every moment of the day and celebrates the joy of the simple things in life.

Nana

Nana has a reputation in the neighborhood as the most valued customer at a garage sale. Nana simply cannot resist the dusty driveway treasures of someone else's spring cleaning. Even though her house is filled with knick-knacks she can always find a place of honor for each new doo-dad. Her most prized treasure is her granddaughter Mona, whom Nana has the fortune of looking after each day. As well as being hilariously passionate and extremely loving, Nana is extremely generous. She loves singing songs on her organ for Mona and always has a great story to read in the story chair.

Mr.Wooka

Mr. Wooka is Nana's next door neighbor (and Nana's love interest). He is a kind old man who's always willing to lend a hand, most importantly as a puppeteer for the puppet shows he puts on for Mona, Nana and Russell almost every day. On occasion he's Nana's singing partner and "fix-it-guy", but most often, he is a welcome and loving member of the family.

Russell

Not only is Nana's house an oasis of wonderous things, it is also the home of Mona's sidekick and partner Russell. He is a Jack Russell Terrier with all the qualities of a hyper, bouncy dog. Once he jumped into a pile of leaves and disappeared only to be found hours later barking from inside the hole a three yards deep he had dug himself into. He charges into every situation faster than lightning. His endless energy makes him the perfect companion to Mona's endless curiosity. Russell is a small, determined dog who's loyal, good-natured and one hundred percent canine.
